What can I say?
They are well matched that for sure, he’s tall, she’s short, he’s lean, she’s not so lean, he’s quiet, she’s noisy….. But one thing is for sure they are as mad as each other and life isn’t dull round them! I’m sure they bring the best and the worst out of each other…
Saturday
Saturday was sunny, a rare moment of calm between storms, Chris & Murielle needed to go to town to collect my mug shot from the framing studio. VERY IMPORTANT JOB ! So when Murielle put the key in the ignition, I only waited for 2 turns before getting my engine roaring. She handed the control over to Chris, but only because she think he is a terrible back seat driver! He gets her as nervous as a driving instructor would and she gets all stressy and flustered when he is sitting on the passenger seat… Mind you I like the way he drives me so I don’t mind 🙂
Off we went, and on the way back, Murielle wanted to stop at the garden recent, but oh dear, it was match day at the Rugby club and the traffic was murder! Then, Chris spotted the entrance of the field used as a spared car park for the garden centre, so thinking he would be so clever, he drove me through the traffic and up a muddy slope (yes, he likes to get me dirty since he doesn’t have to clean me), only to find out there was a HUGE girdle at the top blocking the entrance… Uh oh … trouble, I slid back slowly from the slope, and rejoining the traffic was more than slightly tricky, just round a bend with not much visibility…. Murielle was teasing him and he resorted to blackmail to try and stop me talking about it, threatening to take off my spark plug if I posted it! Well I only do as I want so there, it’s written in black and white…
Sunday

My pet photographer Murielle having got herself a new toy (expensive camera), she decided she would take me out and tootle to Rozel, to take pictures of Chris and his crew coming back from their early morning canoe trip. She was also hoping to taking picture of me by the harbour, as it is a pretty place.
Well, no such luck, buster ! after going round Rozel harbour 3 times looking for a parking space, she gave up and parked me away from the harbour and then walked back to where Chris’ van was parked. Not too long after, she noticed some dots on the sea which meant that her man was coming back… She got her camera out, check the settings, got ready to shoot and…. NOTHING!!! The silly girl had forgotten to put the memory card back in the camera so the camera went on strike !
Having welcomed the guys back on firm land, she decided to take me home, so off we went, and half way up the hill, she realised Chris and his vans were behind us, and then there weren’t and we caught up with them further up… talk about the rabbit chasing the fox ! Once back home, Chris and Murielle agreed to disagree about her driving style, with Chris saying that I was taking the bends on 2 wheels and Murielle saying she didn’t know what he meant…. mind you I’m sure I heard her muttering ‘oh shit, oh shit I’m in 4th’ a couple of time when coming into the bends…. Honestly I’m sure she thinks she is Lewis Hamilton at times and forget I’m not her ex-rally car! Mind you it’s fun to be driven that way and I’m game for anything as long as I stay pretty and in one piece 🙂
