I’m home…
Murielle came to pick me up from CVS valeting this morning, and I was pleased to see her, I was so shiny that she couldn’t help snapping a picture of the sparkly me. I am sure you will agree that the acrylic application and the machine poslish were well worth it… Hey, after all, I am worth it. And I don’t know if you have noticed but as well as the machine polish, i also had a rub down with a soft cloth that made my wings quiver with delight. The cloth was still on my wings when the picture was taken. Murielle went in to pay the bill before settling in behind the driving wheel, she knows i’m worth it !
Murielle looked proud as punch driving me past the esplanade and along the avenue. As we were in the outside lane, I stuck to 40 miles and hours and kept Murielle’s foot down on the accelerator… he he he did a fair bit of overtaking those slow coach cars in the inside lane. The look on those drivers faces when they saw a pretty and shiny old tin snail (me) overtaking them was priceless, even Mastercard couldn’t buy that! I had to refrain myself from hooting with glee, but I think that would have been rubbing salt on the wounds… See I can have a heart (sometimes).
I am so pretty right now that I wanted to have my picture taken, so I made Murielle scout around for a decent place for piccie taking on the way home… she settled for the car park in St Brelade, next to Churchill Memorial Park… Please look at how shiny I am and ignore Murielle parking like a girl, over the line. Honestly? I try to teach her to park better, but she is hard work! She is very trying one might say.
Look how red my wings are now they’ve been pampered… absolutely gorgeous, and shiny! My precious…. Golem would say. Even I have to admit that I can’t fault the valeters work, shame the weather was a bit dull today, I could have done with sunshine to make me sparkle.
Not happy with the decor, Murielle scouted a bit further up the road and found a nice little field next to St Brelade church. As there were a few cars parked in the field, I nudged her to get in there too and pressed the eject button on her sit once she had the camera in hand…. Much better, but I’ll let you be the judge of it. I’m definitively behind the saying “If you got it, flaunt it !” and I’m flaunting it baby !!!!! OH YEAH !!!!
