It’s the first Sunday of the month
And guess what? It’s raining, the drizzle is coming down thick and fast today, and it doesn’t look like Murielle is going to take me to the 2cv de Jersey club meeting this morning. I’m bored, the weather has been pants this week and I didn’t get to go out very much 🙁
And true enough, 10am came and went with no sign of my owners making any preparation to take me out. In fact a local cat has started decorating me with dusty paw prints… I’m sure Murielle would have cleaned me if she wanted to take me out.
BBQ
Well, looks like I was wrong, Murielle has not cleaned me but all of a sudden, I get loaded with food, chairs, table… and off we go to Ouaisne beach where my sisters are waiting for me on the car park. Nice to catch up with Celeste and Cassis.
I didn’t get much time though since as soon as I was unloaded, Chris took me to go and fetch the BBQ they had left behind in the hallway…. Humans, no brain cells between the two of them!
At finally arrived back on the car park to catch up with my siblings. Turns out that Celeste has not only one new mascot, but two 😵😵😵 ! Grace and Gerard Garlic, from the Co-op Goodness Gang! Very cute if I must say so myself…. She is a lucky car !
It looked like the bunch of humans gathered there enjoyed making smoke signals, as they were attempting to burn (oh sorry, cook) their dinner. I am surprised the fire brigade didn’t show up with their nice red trucks seeing the amount of smoke 3 small bbqs were generated. Especially when they got doused off with water before packing up.
And whilst we had enjoyed some dry weather (for a change), with a star appearance from the sun for an hour, the dark clouds soon gathered in the west and the fog started to float towards us. This prompted our humans to gather all their stuff and say good bye until next month… A very brief encounter this month, but worth it for a chat with my siblings and a bowl of fresh air 🙂
